After the extravaganza of the IPL, we have this rather more low key tournament featuring India , Pakistan and Bangladesh over the 50 over format.

It all started on Sunday with Pakistan winning emphatically against a Bangladesh side that is going through a terrible run of form at the moment.

Pakistan face a much stiffer test on Tuesday against India . I fully expect these two sides to contest the final on Saturday and this could well be a rehearsal for the final.

Pakistan are going through a transition under new captain Soaib Malik and have been very inconsistent recently. Big name players Younis Khan and Afridi have not been in good form and they have had to constantly shuffle the opening pairing.

On the bowling front, Akhtar and Asif have spent more time in the courts and detention centres then on a cricket field lately and are both missing again.

India on the other hand will be full of confidence after winning the CB series against Australia in the last tournament in this format.

The IPL made household names of previous relatively unknowns Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Piyush Chawla, Suresh Raina and Yousef Pathan.

These along with already established stars Sehwag, Yuvraj, Dhoni , Irfan Pathan , Sreesanth and Ishant Sharma makes this Indian squad a formidable one and they should prove to be much too strong for both Pakistan and Bangladesh.

India has beaten Pakistan eight times in their last 11 meetings in this format in last two years. I feel India is now stronger then ever, while Pakistan are still inconsistent.

I believe India will win Tuesdays match comfortably and consider the 1.73 available at Skybet and Bluesq outstanding value and therefore strongly recommend backing them for 4 Points at this price.
