India needs a win to ensure they meet them in that final, though a narrow defeat would still see them through unless Pakistan beat Bangladesh by a wide margin on Friday.

India 's confidence will have taken a blow after failing to defend 308 against Pakistan on yet another batsmen's dream pitch at Karachi

Today's game is at the same venue again and I expect another run fest.

Sri Lanka will almost certainly be resting their two big bowling guns in Vaas and Murali and calling upon their reserves.

India will almost certainly be making a couple of bowling changes too with Chawla and Kumar disappointing on this pitch yesterday.

They could be looking to bring in RP Singh and the spinner Pragyan Ojha. Alternatively they may choose to play an extra bowler and dispense with one of the batsmen on this flat track.

On the face of it, India seems the value if Sri Lanka rest Vaas and Murali. However this Karachi pitch is all about batting strength and in Sangakarra, Jayasarua, Jawawardne, Silva and Dilshan , Sri Lanka have more then enough fire power to destroy any attack.

Furthermore a dead rubber, as far as Sri Lanka are concerned, could be a doubled edged sword. It means there is no pressure on them and enables them to play with freedom.

Once again the Injun batting line-up is capable of scoring big on this pitch, but after yesterday's failure to defend 308, they may need to post a lot more.

This game could go either way, and for once, I suggest sitting on the proverbial fence could be a prudent move and so this is a no bet game for me.

We already got 4 points on India @ 2.25 to win in the outright market, lets stick with that and give this game a miss from a betting point of view, but enjoy what should be another run fest at Karachi .
