Rugby League Weekend

I usually post my article for the week on Friday's but a few of the layers have played ball and got their Super League handicaps out early. I really like the look of one of them and have to snap it up before the price goes.
 
Hull v Celtic

I'm not convinced that Celtic have got to grips with the Super League standards and this weekend they play a Hull team that seem back on track after their last injury plagued season. Hull beat Wigan last weekend and have had a good pre-season and they are an established SL outfit. I like the look of Horne and Thorman as a half-back combination and they have the players who are established at this level.

Celtic have looked far from convincing in their opening fixtures and whilst home advantage may improve things I still feel they lack quality. I think Hull will travel to Wales and do a professional job. They might have to grind out the result but there will be a period in the match where Hull will be too good and run in the tries. I had this one as Hull by 14 as I haven't seen anything yet that suggests the Celtic team can be winning this type of fixture. For those of you who like a straight win bet I would say the 1.4 match odds (Ladbrokes and Bet365) also represents value.
