Supersoccer has again shown their hand first and there is one I like the look of:

Barrow +6 v Batley 3pts@1.91

Barrow is in the lower division but I don't feel there is much difference between the top of Division 2 and the bottom teams of Division 1. Barrow used the Northern Rail Cup campaign to mix and match their squad but they now have a settled team and have opened the season with three victories. They are pretty much at full strength with the exception of doubts over Weisner and Harrison.

They beat Widnes in their last cup game and if they can re-produce that form it will be enough to see off Batley.

Batley played Widnes a week after Barrow in the league and they were defeated at home so the form line suggests a Barrow victory. Batley though are no mugs as shown by their fine win at Whitehaven and their first half showing this weekend at Salford . I wouldn't rule out a Batley victory but we have a nice cushion of the 6pts start and that's enough for me given that I had Barrow slight favourites for the game off scratch
