I'm struggling to understand how Ladbrokes have come up with this handicap. Ever since Rovers gave St.Helens a run for their money in the cup they seem to be running on empty. Since then they have suffered big defeats at St.Helens and Warrington and showed their soft underbelly when letting slip a seemingly unassailable position at home to Wakefield last weekend. Last season their away form was a chief factor in staying up but they have yet to win away from the city of Hull this season.
Bradford themselves have had a stuttering season but finally ended a losing run last weekend at home to Hull FC. I can see them consolidating their play-off ambitions with a comfortable victory here. All evidence suggests that Rovers' form is simply not good enough to spring a shock.
Bradford have not been too badly affected by international call-ups with only Sam Burgess picked and I wouldn't be surprised if the young man is able to double up. I had Bradford by 14.
