Salford v Harlequins

1st July 20:00 GMT
Salford sit on the edge of the play-offs and will view this as a must win fixture. After a slow start their season is improving and I expect them to be much too strong for a 'Quins side in some disarray. Salford have won three of their last four fixtures which included a fine win at top side Warrington albeit in the weekend of the Origin fixture. Generally they have managed to dispose of the poor sides and 'Quins fit that bracket. 'Quins did record a recent victory at home to Wakefield but at times this season Wakefield themselves have been out of their depth.
Harlequins were reasonably competitive versus Hull KR last weekend but they still contrived to lose by thirty points plus. When their heads and defensive structure go down they really do leak a lot of points. This has all the makings of a good spread bet as I can't see Salford going down and it could well be a wide margin. However, the spread companies have stuck an extra few points on the mark so I will content myself with a fixed odds play. My tissue had Salford by 16pts.
Pick: Salford -12 3pts @ 1.91 with Sportingbet, Bluesq or Coral
