The Overrule: French Open 2010
By Sports MagicianRobin Soderling continues to be overrated by the bookmakers as he clashes with Croatian number one, Marin Cilic, on Sunday. The two big servers have never met before and the Overrule can certainly envisage a potentially long match that should go at least four sets. We'll be backing Cilic to make it through at a very generous price, as well as taking the over in the total games market. It's not often that we see multiple tie-breaks on clay, but that is a real possibility in this match-up.
Caroline Wozniacki hasn't convinced me at all during this tournament, despite having not lost a set. The Danish starlet has been hampered by an ankle injury for a majority of the clay court season, something we have touched upon on the Overrule a number of times in recent weeks. Wozniacki hasn't looked completely comfortable with her movement and against Flavia Pennetta that could prove critical. Pennetta is rarely an easy opponent to beat and loves clay, she has the shots to move Wozniacki from side to side and force her to be more aggressive, which takes Caro out of her comfort zone. Wozniacki leads the head to head 2-0, including a three set win on clay last season, but Pennetta can get her first taste of success against the Dane on Sunday.
