The Overrule: Wimbledon Men's Final
By Sports MagicianRafael Nadal and Tomas Berdych meet for the 11th time in their professional careers with Nadal holding a 7-3 head to head advantage. Berdych hasn't beaten Nadal since silencing the Spaniard and the Madrid crowd in 2006 at the indoor Masters event. The Czech has finally made the breakthrough that many thought he was capable of years ago - when he was dubbed the "poor man's Marat Safin". In reaching his first Grand Slam final Berdych has shown a growing maturity and confidence in his ability to close out big matches. The Overrule backed the Czech to win the tournament at 6.50 before his semi-final and we are quite happy to ride out that selection.
As long as Berdych gets off to a solid start, he has the game and tools to blow Nadal off the court, the way he once did during three of their first four career meetings.
