Agnes Szavay is on course to defend the tournament she won last year in Budapest - her home nation. Surprisingly, Szavay has been made the underdog for her semi-final with Romanian Alexandra Dulgheru. Yesterday the Overrule tipped Anastasija Sevastova to beat Dulgheru and she found a way to blow a 5-2 lead in the third set, despite the fact Dulgheru seemed slightly hampered by an ankle injury. Szavay looked in fine form against Alize Cornet and we will back her with maximum confidence to reach the final.

Gisela Dulko upset the odds to destroy her doubles partner Flavia Pennetta in semi-final action and she looks overpriced in her final with Aravane Rezai. Dulko’s best results have always come on clay and although she is rightfully the outsider, the match should be closer than the odds suggest. The Argentine is 2-0 lifetime against Rezai, who is having the best year of her career. If Rezai is on-song she could blow Dulko off the court, but if her radar is a little off, then Gisela has the game to frustrate Rezai into some rash unforced errors.
