Unsportsmanlike Conduct - Week Ten
By Sports MagicianLast week we profited from the receiving skills of Hakeem Nicks and we're going to continue riding that train this week. Bwin have only increased his yardage quote by five yards - which ties in with his current average for receiving yards per game (81.6). The over/under quote of 80.5 is still too low for Nicks, especially bearing in mind he has gone over 100 yards in four of his last five games. Nicks may face more double coverage against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night as the ever dependable Steve Smith has been ruled out with injury. Eli Manning looks to Smith as his first option on most third downs and Smith rarely disappoints in his execution. Despite the absence of Smith, Nicks is still a bad match-up for the Cowboys secondary in almost every aspect. He’s fast, strong and has great hands and his routes have become crisper this year in his second season.
Nicks is a pure playmaker, he made circus like catches in college at North Carolina and has had no problem translating his big play ability to the professional ranks. The Cowboys have too much to worry about with the New York Giants offense to concentrate all their efforts on stopping Nicks. Hakeem will have his chances to make plays, and that’s what I fully expect him to do.
WEEK TEN SELECTION:
PICK: 3*HAKEEM NICKS MORE THAN 80.5 RECEIVING YARDS AGAINST DALLAS COWBOYS @ 1.85 (BWIN)
