QPR are a team in a bit of disarray right now which would seem a ridiculous statement when you consider that they are just outside of the play offs and therefore still well in with a shout of promotion to the Premiership. The problem is that they keep rocking the boat and therefore disrupting continuity as was clearly displayed by the premature sacking of Iain Dowie last week which seemed a ludicrous decision.
Birmingham by contrast are a team on top of their game at this moment which they showed glimpses of during their comfortable 3-1 victory over Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
Top of the league at the moment and scoring goals for fun is probably no surprise when you look at some of the forwards they have at their disposal. Kevin Phillips, Gary O'Connor, Cameron Jerome, James McFadden and Marcus Bent are all excellent at this level and should be more than capable of testing any defence in the division.
I will cover myself slightly in terms of guarding myself against the draw in this one but in terms of looking for a potential winner, I do not really see past Birmingham. Having made a flying start to the season and living up to their billing of pre-season favourites I fully expect that they will have more than enough at their disposal to see past a confused QPR side.
RECOMMENDATION - 4 Points on Birmingham City (Draw No Bet) @ 1.8 (Bet365)
