Dhaka Warriors v Lahore Badshahs

In terms of passage into the knockout phases of the tournament, this match is pretty much a decider. Billed as Bangladesh v Pakistan you can see why pre-tournament the Badshahs would probably have been around the 1.4-1.5 mark for this contest because in the previous ICL tournament they were only just beaten off by the Hydrabad Heroes to the title in a best of three final.
The Dhaka Warriors have brought an aggressive style of cricket to the ICL and have flourished thus far but when it comes to a crunch match would you really want to be on the Bangladeshi side? Especially at odds on with some of the bookies. Not for me thanks, I would like to stick with a bit more of a tried and tested method if there is such a thing in Twenty20 cricket and opt for the team with the experience and the know-how.
The Badshahs have a pretty well balanced side on the whole with Rana Naved and Saqlain Mustaq being the key men. Rana is a tremendous bowler in limited overs cricket and his tendency to bowl no-balls aside, he is a must for the team as is spin dynamo Saqlain who stifles opposition batsmen so well and often induces mistakes. He is still young enough earn an unlikely recall to the Pakistani side but is unlikely to given that he is now an English national and has participated in this rebel tournament.
At 1.91 this price on the Lahore team really is value because they need to win and in must-win situations I would take the wise heads every time.
