Article: SUPER LEAGUE WEEKEND
After a successful couple of elections last week I think I have found a good bet for you this week. Look to the live match in the Super League tonight at the JJB Stadium.
WIGAN WARRIORS V WAKEFIELD WILDCATS, Friday 15th August 2008, 8pm
Live on Sky Sports 1
Wigan have finally found a little form and momentum to take forward into the play offs. After destroying Hull a fortnight ago and getting a gutsy and determined draw away in the south of France when they played the Catalan Dragons last week, it is fair to say life looks a little better for Brian Noble.
The same can definitely not be said for Wildcats coach John Kear who has seen his side completely capitulate this season. Having looked a very good shout for the play-offs just a couple of months ago his side have been beaten by all and sundry even stooping to the lowest level possible by getting walloped at home by the Castleford Tigers last week. It is not a good time to follow Wakefield .
The return of talisman Trent Barrett from a minor hamstring injury will only see the Warriors look and feel even stronger favourites for the match. I had this one down as an eighteen point start for Wakefield , and at that mark I think I would be recommending nothing. However, there are a couple of firms brave enough to offer just a fourteen point start to beleagured Wakefield and I will happily oppose them.
RECOMMENDATION - 3.5 Points Wigan Warriors -14 @ 1.91 (Ladbrokes, Betfred)
Good luck to all and enjoy the game.
