WIGAN WARRIORS V LEEDS RHINOS
After the Warriors fell just short of beating the handicap last week to leave plenty of punters (myself included) tearing my hair out, you have to question just what they will have left in the tank after such a pulsating encounter in which they played the majority of game with just twelve. It was a real hard working team effort on the whole and I applaud the way that Noble has got his side digging in at the right stage of the season but this Leeds team is a very different kettle of fish.
The Rhinos are a class act through and through. After a mini-blip in the season it seems that they are well and truly back into their business now.
Having won the last two games nerves have been steadied amongst the ranks of the west riding unit, hapless Castleford were flayed 54-12 at Headingley Carnegie last week.
The absence of Pat Richards and Phil Bailey will be a bit of a blow to Wigan and leaves me to believe that they will struggle to hold sway. It is a boost to them that Trent Barrett is likely to play, but this is possibly going to be his last home appearance for the club.
In terms of a handicap mark, this game looked very much like an eight point start to Wigan for me and this wouldn't have appealed. Having trawled through the respective handicaps of the fixed odds bookies I notice that a couple of bookies have gone for just a four point start. Brave souls.
RECOMMENDATION - 4 Points Stake on Leeds Rhinos -4 @ 1.91 (Bluesq)
