20:17 Romforddogs.com Bitches (OR) 400m

Tonight again see's a very average card from Romford with not much quality on show but a good opportunity of a bet comes in the 20:17 Bitches race over 400m.

This is a very competitive bitch’s race with all dogs having recorded wins over C&D. Last week's winner Lethal Repunzal is a very game bitch and this Alison's Ingram's bitch will again put in a top performance. But the one that catches my eye is Seamus Cahills DROOPYS QUINTA. Beaten by a short head by Repunzal last week after a return from lameness and clearly needing the run, she put in a good performance and natural progression should see her return to the winners circle.
 
A Best C&D time of 23.99 in November 08 when on top of her game was enough to beat a host of top class greyhounds and this race based on that evidence is a huge downgrade.
 
She has two style of running and it would be no surprise to see her lead from trap rise, if not she is game enough to challenge all the way to the line.
 
The makeup of the race does suit us, (my tissue)
 
Dryland Fantasy is very game but is devoid of early and is clearly suited to strong gallop.  (7.0)
 
Droumeragh Kai is a tight early paced racer, not to keen on the trainer myself, will turn left from this draw. (9.0)
 
Rackethall Jenny is a very promising  Jan 08 bitch but again I have noticed that she turns left from trap rise and heads straight for the rails, This is one to follow when drawn in red. (7.0)
 
DROOPYS QUINTA our selection. Shows more early pace when fresh and can win from off the front or from the back. (2.25)
 
Lethal Repunzal is a favourite of mine but would be better drawn in trap 6 as she sometimes does turn right from lid rise showing her preference for a wider draw. The danger to our selection, has all round pace. (4.0)
 
Love Wish is a very promising bitch, won't like Repunzal drawn inside her. She will improve and wouldn't like her to hit the front at the 2nd bend. Capable of a fast run and I like the trainer. Keep an eye on this lady if sent over a stiffer four bends. (7.0)
 
The Racing Post  has put her in at 2.5 which is a fair price and also their next best.
