Greyhound racing is one of leading spectator attracting sports in the UK and Ireland. Betting has always been the main attraction in greyhound racing and it seems that it might be the only sport in which the majority of visitors are bettors. Although greyhound racing betting is based more on knowledge and experience than on mere luck, most bettors still loose money on greyhound racing.
In order to do well in greyhound racing betting you need to learn more about greyhound racing as a sport as well as understand the basics of betting.
My aim is to help you make the most of greyhound racing both in terms of understanding and enjoying the sport as well as being a better bettor. My advice is based on experience in greyhound racing and greyhound racing betting online and offline.
With the exchanges now covering more greyhound races this gives me the edge to back my selections at more suitable odds but also being able to lay the runners I think will perform badly due to a number of circumstances.
My winners in the past month year include:
Shelbourne Aston (34.0 ante post) - Winner of the 2008 Irish Derby
Bigwood Rocket (15.0 ) - Winner of 1st Round Heat of Anglian Derby
Rev Counter (2.5f) Boherna on Air (1.61f) - Winner on Steel Cup Final Night
Windgap Galaxy (4.0) Droopys Quinta (2.0) Fear Haribo (2.0)
These are just a few to name.

My first selection is a Lay Bet on Maises Girl. I expect this to be around 3.25 – 3.5 on course but we would be looking to lay this around 4.5 on betfair. Housed in the 1 box which is well known for front runners to miss the kick over the 575m distance I also expect Maises Girl to move middle from this berth in a race that has 4 railers and middle runner Cagey Max boxed in Trap 5 who prefers the rails.
This should set up the race for Romford favourite Eye on the Veto.
