Tuesday Night NBA
By DivolNew York Knicks v Pheonix Suns

2nd December 00:35 GMT
I think that the Suns after winning the last four games by an average of 21 points, wouldn't mind to go easy and maybe even lose to Knicks and D'Antoni. I do think they will go for the win, but without any desire to crush as they done lately to many teams in the league, including the two last road wins in Minni and Toronto.
Knicks on the other hand, have lost their last 5 games, but covered three of them and even the loss ATS against the Magic, came after OT, so they were in the game all 48 minutes. I do think that Knicks are starting to look like a team. Two road wins against Pacers and Nets, good performances despite losses to Boston and Orlando (both in OT), covered the line against the Lakers and almost won in Denver. Other than the poor game against the Kings, Knicks were really solid the last two weeks.
One point that does trouble me is the Total. Knicks if not the two OT, are in 6 - 1 Under run during this time. Other than the Denver game where they covered despite getting 128 points and the Kings match, where they played poorly and didn't cover, in other games they won and they allowed their opponent to score around 100 points, but not higher than that.
Still, I will take the bet; just lower the units for this one.
Picks:
Knicks +7, 2.0 odds - 2.5 units play – Pinnacle
Over 225 points, 1.91 odds - 2.5 units play - Paddy Power
Portland Trailblazers v Miami Heat

2nd December 03:05 GMT
I can't think of a better rival than the Heat for Blazers to overcome their two games skid. Oden and Aldridge can close the paint from Heat big guys (not only O'Neal, but Haslem and Beasley as well). Portland are also at least decent three point line defenders so we are left with Wade on Roy to have a great day to win this one for them.
Miami have trouble playing the Blazers for a reason and it should continue today as well. Portland's defense really fits against Heat's offense as maybe no other. Anyone that has Under 89 for Heat should take it. I lean to Under in the game as well, since I think that Heat will struggle to score even 80 points, but still, 101 - 86 can be a score as well.I do think that Portland will score 90+ points tonight, while Heat will struggle to put points on board and Portland will win it something like 97 - 81 I believe.
Pick: Portland -7, 1.97 odds - 3.5 units play - Pinnacle
Los Angeles Lakers v New Orleans Hornets

2nd December 03:35 GMT
I think that Lakers are looking to beat any opponent they can and now they play the same team they beat this season, but the one that beat them last year in Staples Center and forced an OT in the other game in Staples Center.
Hornets will be without CP3 and probably Peja as well. That leaves West and Okafor on Bynum, Gasol and Odom and nothing else on the rest of the Lakers.
Posey will try to guard Kobe, young Collison and Thornton will contribute, but still, Lakers are too good and lately have the desire to win as well. 110 - 89 to Lakers sound about right here for me to be honest.
Pick: Lakers -13.5, 1.92 odds - 1.5 units play -
