Portland Trail Blazers v Sacremento Kings

I'm basing this play on the always dangerous assumption that Portland will win tonight. Why? Simply because Portland come from a bad road trip where they almost won all four, but ended up losing three of their four games. They came home, got little rest and I think they will try to win this one, before playing a tough game against the Suns at home and than going on a four games road trip. A very tough one as they will be playing Orlando, Miami, Dallas and SA.

Kings also have a winnable game tomorrow against the Wizards so I have no doubt they will put up an effort today (as they always have), but still...

So if Portland wins, we need to look at Kings ATS effort so far this season and it stands 16 - 6, very impressive. Still having said that, we need to look at their losses. They lost all games but two above the line set for today, with both losses smaller than the line happening against the Hornets.

Portland are a short roster team right now due to all the injuries, but this is why I rate the three days rest so highly for them right now. They had time to sort things out, to get adjusted to all the injuries and today they should come 100% ready.

This is the easiest game for them for the next two weeks and they really must take a win here and the line should be broken as well.
