Monday Night NBA

Sacramento Kings v Denver Nuggets

29th December 03:05 GMT

What I said about Lakers front court, goes for Denver as well. Lakers controlling the boards won them the game. Each time that Kings did a good job on both ends of the floor taking the rebounds, they made their runs. One more issue is Carmelo. While Kobe did what he wanted, while Udoke did gave a few minutes on him, I can't see anyone besides Udoke and Nocioni even trying to guard Carmelo. The problem is that Udoke is not big enough and Nocioni not fast enough (and not good of a defender) to do the job. Evans probably out for this one, but this is not too bad for the Kings, since Evans was holding too much of the ball and he is much more important on the road, when Kings shoot the ball much worse.

Picks:

Denver -1, 1.9 - 4 units play - Fonbet

Over 210.5 - 1.91 - 2.5 units - Sportingbet

Over 107 points, 1.90 - 2.5 units play - VCBet Free £100 Bet

Pheonix Suns v Los Angeles Lakers

29th December 02:05 GMT

Lakers are a good team of course, nothing new here. Good teams after losses search for three things I believe in this league. New winning streak, beating teams that beat the Lakers and a win over a good team to show they are still as good as they claim.

Suns are the answer to all that. Add the fact that Lakers match up greatly against the Suns and that Artest's injury shouldn't have a big impact since they don't have anyone they need him to guard at his position and we have got a solid bet. The only thing troubling me is that Suns come to this game off a loss.

Pick: Lakers to win, 1.93 - 3 units play - Pinnacle

New Jersey Nets v Oaklahoma City Thunder

29th December 00:35 GMT

Not an easy game to cap, but Nets are much better lately and they still don't get the wins and bookies keep ignoring them by posting big lines on them. The loss to the Wolves made a huge damage to Nets in public's eyes and I think it could have done us, as bettors a big favour. Harris still not himself, but he is getting better. Lopez is playing well, Yi plays very good and you can see that Chinese steroids are just as good as the Soviet's were. Thunder are a good team, this is why it's hard for me to make it a big play. Still having said that, I do think that Nets match up well in this game and even if they lose, I will continue taking them for now.

Pick: Nets to win, 2.91 - 2 units play - Expekt

Charlotte Bobcats v Milwaukee Bucks

29th December 00:05 GMT

Cats are a decent team right now, especially at home. Besides losing to Utah, that came to the game after getting beat down in Atlanta, Cats won four last home games (4 out of 5 home games with Utah) and 7 of 9 last home games won, with losses to Utah and Boston, while winning Denver and Cleveland.

Bucks are just a bad team that had a rookie with a crazy month. His stocks are dropping and Bucks drop down with him. Jennings scored 29 points in the win of the Bucks over Charlotte a month ago. I doubt we will see it against tonight.

Cats very hungry for win and I actually wanted to take them the last two games they won as well, but too many key players were questionable. This time I will take them and I hope the hunger is still there.

Pick: Cats -4, 1.92 - 2.5 units play - Pinnacle
