San Antonio Spurs v Atlanta Hawks

This one is game of the year for the Spurs if you ask me. They had trouble on the road, splitting the trip 2 - 2 despite playing mediocre teams (not bad, but mediocre like Memphis, Charlotte, Oklahoma and New Orleans) and now are in the middle of a 6 game home stretch.  After this stretch, they go on their annual 8 games road trip so it was huge for them to make a strong home run in this six games home stand to be in a safe position before hitting the road. They got nice teams as well to test their skills like Houston, Utah, Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis and Denver. But instead of building confidence, they come today after three losses in a row and they need to win all three remaining games just to hit 50% success in this home stretch. I can't even begin to describe how much it amazes me. Yes, Spurs aren't as good as they were, but three home losses in a row to mediocre teams, all three of them they were dying to beat? Just WOW.

Hawks are the team they have the best history with. In the last 10 games, Spurs have won 9 of them, all above the line for today. They won all of the last 5 home games between the teams as well.  Duncan should match up really nicely here and Parker is a big mismatch I believe. I will take them today for maximum units and maybe will do the same for the rest of the home stretch, since they are just in a must win position.
