Oklahoma City Thunder v Dallas Mavericks

I can't understand such a line. Dallas have won both games against Thunder this season, made an excellent trade that should improve the team and the players they brought should come out hungry today and still they are dogs? Thunder are 15 – 10 at home, while Dallas are 17 – 11 on the road. The right line here is Dallas -2, not +3.5.

Dallas should feel pretty good right now, with the trade that brings title hopes back to the team and they will desperately try to make a decent run right now. If we add the fact that both teams have a similar record, this game is even much more important for Dallas since the teams have two different ambitions. While Thunder are slowly building their franchise, Mavericks know that their roster has 1 – 2 good seasons left in them before they will need a massive rebuild.

I can also add that it won't be easy for Durant to come back from all the hype he got on All Star weekend to the routine of the league. He dealt with it before, but never had he returned to a playoff contender before, one that has actual expectations of winning.
