Pao v Barcelona

Well I can't resist betting Pao to win this one. Barcelona is a great team, but this game means little to them. As long as they lose by less than 12 points, they are locked for the 1st place in this group.

For Pao on the other hand, this is a whole different story. They need this one to survive. A loss here will mean that Euroleague Champion is out of the competition. I think that the fans will play a role and will affect Barcelona who proved they have got a problem playing a fanatical crowd (as we have seen against Partizan). Add to that the fact that refs can easily help the local team to win and I will take Pao who needs the game much much much more and take it for full stakes. After all, if Maccabi, Oly and Pao won't be present in the Final 4, Euroleague will face empty arena in the Finals and that is not fun.

Khimki v Tau

So far this season in Euroleague, Tau have had better results on the road than against the same team at home. What are the reasons for that? Well, I have no idea why Tau plays much faster and more offensive on the road, but it is hard to argue. I read that Tau had rough trip to Moscow due to all kinds of problems and that Splitter and Eliyahu are probably out tonight. In that case, I rather take the Over for Khimki only, since they are more than capable of scoring 80 points at home.

Partizan v Maroussi

Well Partizan have stopped every rival on a low score in this round. They stopped Barcelona on 66 points after OT (!!!), Pao on 59 points and Maroussi at home on 57 points. Why would Maroussi score on the road more than 67.5 points is beyond me here.
