Estudiantes v Valladolid

Estudiantes still wants to fight for the playoff spot and to distance itself from the relegation battles. In order to do so, they simply must win today at home against a team that is in their level, even slightly beneath it. Valladolid on the other hand, suddenly starts dreaming about the playoffs, since they hold 6th place in the league right now. Still, they don't have the roster to do that, at least I don't see it anyway. Estu plays at home, needs the win more and is simply a better team. Add to that the fact that I expect a drop in form for the visitors and we have got the bet of the day, at least for me.

Cajasol v Barcelona

Barcelona should come here really tired today having played 5 games in 10 days. A win over Pao, three games in the Copa Del Rey that they won and then a win in Athens over Pao. They should be exhausted both physically and mentally I believe. Cajasol will miss Kirksay and that is a big miss, but Kirksay was the worst player on the floor in the loss to Barcelona on the road and Cajasol still managed to lose only by 9 points. Today I believe we will see tough defense from both teams and though an Under is a nice option, I prefer to take Cajasol with the very nice line.

Gran Canaria v Caja Laboral

There are many rumours about several players for the home team that are questionable but I believe that in the end at least some will play and overall, Canaria at home are a strong enough team to beat any rival. With any point to their favour it is an extra bonus. Caja look great, but still without Splitter and playing & flying all over Europe, from Russia to the islands will make this tough. I think that the home court plus the absence of Splitter plus the fact that Caja should feel a bit tired make it a decent bet, though not the strongest.

Xacobeo v Manresa

I believe that here is a case of who wants it more and the answer should be the home team. Bilbao are on the rise right now, so unless Xacobeo starts getting some wins they will be on the sure way to relegation. What is the best chance for a win, if not at home against team of their level, but one that is safe right now from the relegation zone and has several players who are questionable? Massey signed with Xacobeo and will probably play, adding some power in the paint and with Xacobeo playing in Madrid against Real in the next round, it is kind of a must win for them.
