Lakers not in a good mood, mainly because Kobe plays poorly and when the star of the team is in a bad mood, it gets to you as a team. Still, Lakers won easily in the first game despite playing only one good quarter. While I do expect Thunder to have a better game today, I still believe that Lakers can and should play much better as well. I like the Over here, because both teams should shoot better today, but I will take the Lakers bet instead. Lakers desperately want to win this series as fast as they can because they need to give Kobe as much rest as possible. With Denver losing last night, this series will go to a 6 games series at least and Lakers can really enjoy almost a week of rest if they sweep the Thunder. 6 points allow some backdoor cover, but Lakers also can cover it with ease, even if Kobe will still have some problems playing and he most likely will. 105 - 90 is my projected score here.

KG out can mean that these teams will have a much higher score, but I do think that KG's defence this season is over rated and doesn't have the same influence as he usually had. As I said before the first game, both teams trust their defence and I don't see it changing.

Phoenix Suns v Portland Trail Blazers

While it's not easy to take such a big line or to take Miller yet again, after the 3 points rise and that is huge for a player total, I just feel that it's the right bet in both cases. Miller is still Portland's biggest advantage over the Suns and Suns need this win and try their best not to take any risks and close this one as fast as they can. Usually taking a favourite off a home loss brings the money, so I will take my chances here, despite the big line.
