Sunday Night NBA

Los Angeles Lakers v Utah Jazz

2nd May 20:35 GMT

I believe that Lakers should easily qualify for the next round. Utah are Lakers' wet dream, especially if their only advantage, Deron Williams carries an injury, even if it limits him even slightly. Utah made an amazing accomplishment winning the series against Denver without Kirilenko and Okur, but this is their limit probably. With Kirilenko, Utah will have trouble defending Bryant. They also will have big problems defending Gasol and Odom, with both Koufos and Fesenko unable to guard them away from the rim.

I will take a bet for the series, taking Lakers to win 4 - 1 as the main bet and take 4 - 0 in case that Utah will surrender completely, a scenario that I highly doubt. I will also take Lakers to cover the line given to them.

Picks:

Lakers to win the series 4 - 1 - 3.53 odds - 3 units play - Pinnacle

Lakers to win the series 4 - 0 - 7.31 odds - 0.5 units play - Pinnacle

Lakers -7, 1.94 odds - 3 units play - Pinnacle

Atlanta Hawks v Milwaukee Bucks

2nd May 18:05 GMT

I think that Bucks ran out of gas. They made a great result and I would have never thought they will lead 3 - 2 the series, but this is where it should stop. Hawks are a great home team that really shouldn't lose twice in a row to the Bucks at home. Hawks are the most amazing team in the playoff history perhaps. This is their third year in a row that they made the playoffs and it will be their third 7th game in the four rounds they been so far and what is really amazing is that despite the even series (and that is what 7 games indicate), 19 of their 24 games so far in the playoffs resulted in double digits margin. How can it be that such close series (the closest it can be), had such one sided wins each time is beyond me, but who am I to argue. Another stat that I found interesting is that the losing team in Game 7 in games that involved the Hawks (though it been only three games so far) scored 74, 78 and 65 points only.

Picks:

Hawks -9. 1.94 odds - 3.5 units play - Pinnacle

Bucks Under 88 points, 1.90 odds - 2.5 units play - Centrebet

Jennings Under 17.5 points, 1.83 odds - 1.5 units play - Bet365

Bonus Bet:

Hawks + Lakers to lead at HT and FT - 2.52 odds - 3.5 units play - Bet365
