Two bets that I like in matchup between Kobe against Rondo. In all three games so far, the bets would have won both and that is Kobe +4.5 assists and Kobe +0.5 steals. I think that in both cases, the line is really important. Steals is a stat that +0.5 means a lot in. It is rare for a player to have 4+ steals, so mostly it's 0 - 2, maybe some rare occasions 3 steals, but with 0 - 2 being the probable result, +0.5 means that even if Kobe doesn't have one steal the entire game, he still has a decent chance of winning.
As for the assists, Rondo can make 10+ assists in any given night. Still, in most cases he will have 8 - 10 assists. Kobe on the other hand, after his poor shooting displays and poor poor shots selections in Game 2 and 3 will probably look for his teammates and make 6 - 7 assists and with the line, the bet looks decent. One of the main reasons for the play is also the fact that despite Kobe winning all three games in both bets, both didn't move not in line and not in odds and that is just the bookies not reacting the right way.
Over 2.5 rebounds for Fisher is my final bet for today. Fisher would have won the bet in all three games so far in the series. I think that today, Fisher won't repeat his performance from Game 3 and he realizes that. But, since he is a smart player, he will try to contribute in other aspects, rebounds being one of them. The fact that he guards players that also factor on the boards this series, causes him to also be much more aware to the fact that he needs to grab the ball coming off the boards some times.
Picks:
Kobe +4.5 assists against Rondo - 1.85 odds - 2 units play - Gamebookers
Kobe +0.5 steals against Rondo - 1.85 odds - 2 units play - Gamebookers
Fisher Over 2.5 rebounds - 1.85 odds - 2 units play - Bwin
