Tonight the Premier League makes the journey over the Irish Sea to Belfast and the Odyssey Arena. As usual four tricky matches await. First on is our outright bet Mervyn King who is currently joint leader with Phil Taylor. I think we should just cheer him on tonight as his price of 1.44 to beat Baxter is about right and as we already have him in the book let’s leave that price.

Second on is the match we will be playing in. Adrian Lewis was devastating last week against Barney and tonight I feel will comfortably take care of Terry Jenkins who has drawn his first two games. Jenkins has shown fighting qualities to come from behind each week and claim those draws but tonight may be too far behind in each leg to compete. Lewis is starting to settle in to the Premier League and will give everyone in the league plenty to think about this year. I think he may just do a number on the Bull tonight.

The final two games both present punting difficulties. Whitlock our other outright selection is still looking very nervous and his opponent tonight Barneveld looked sluggish last week against Lewis. The bookies cannot split them and neither can I so let’s just cheer on Whitlock who could do with a win to climb the league.

The final game is Taylor v Wade which should be a Taylor comfortable win. Sadly that is how it is priced up. Wade has been practicing hard this week and will need to show some sparkle soon or a top four place will be beyond him.
