Well tonight kicks off with our two Ante Post selections meeting and I can see only one result, victory for Mervyn King. Whitlock shot the lowest average of the whole tournament last week and just does not look comfortable up there. King will be fuming after losing two winning positions in the last two weeks and ending up with two draws, Whitlock may get the receiving end of that frustration. Bow down to the King

Second on, a player with momentum James Wade against Terry Jenkins who was very patchy last week against Phil Taylor I still don't think Wade is back to anything like his best but he is dealing with some things away from darts and last week’s win will have done him the power of good. I think Wade will win tonight and he knows if he is to qualify for final’s night he has to beat the likes of Jenkins.

Next up Baxter Versus Barney and the question is which Barney will turn up. At the prices I am taking the flat Barney to turn up and I think Baxter is a massive price to take this. The cumulative averages over the whole league give Baxter the edge here and he is practicing like mad this year knowing this could be his last chance at a huge payout. Barney is a very wealthy man and I am not convinced is up for this league. I take Baxter to shock him.

Finally the game of the night, Lewis versus Taylor and let’s just sit back and enjoy this one as Lewis is often beaten before the first dart against Taylor. I think the bookies have this one about right so no selection.
