Article: Boxing Day Premiership Soccer - Tottenham v Fulham
Tottenham v Fulham

26th December 14:00GMT
I keep on harping on about Fulham and how Roy Hodgson has transformed his side since taking over nearly a year ago. Their early season results belied their true form and they are now reaping rewards thanks to phenomenal cohesion and team togetherness. Jimmy Bullard leads the charge in midfield with his infectious enthusiasm, while Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora are incredibly uncomfortable propositions for defences all over the country. Arguably the best signing under Hodgson's tenure so far would be Brede Hangeland, the giant Norwegian defender who has helped Fulham keep four clean sheets in their last five games, including away fixtures to Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Although Harry Redknapp has also transformed Tottenham's fortunes since taking over from Juande Ramos, it cannot be forgotten that Fulham won the reverse fixture at Craven Cottage fairly comfortably just over a month ago, and since then they have been mighty impressive. Tactically, Fulham have been very astute away from home and so I feel that Tottenham's price of 1.85 really must be opposed.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for a prosperous New Year to all!
