NJ's Premier League Weekend

Last week's loss against Birmingham will have done no good for Wigan's fragile morale. Having led the game, Wigan let Birmingham come back to win 3-2 in a match which Roberto Martinez's side should have wrapped up with plenty to spare.
Stoke are doing pretty well in not showing signs of the dreaded 'Second Season Syndrome', and despite a widely reported apocalyptic bust-up between boss Tony Pulis and striker James Beattie - involving the latter apparently having his towel fall off as he left the showers to be confronted by Pulis - Stoke are a tough side to beat at home and they should be able to pile the pressure back onto Wigan here. At odds-against, they are certainly a strong play.
Birmingham vs West Ham

12th December 15:00 GMT
Alex McLeish's Birmingham side have proven themselves to be tough competition this season, and our followers will be glad to see them get off to such a great start this season, after backing them each way in the Premiership handicap market. In 7 home games so far, the St Andrew's faithful have only witnessed a Premier League low of 9 goals, but with three wins, they are solid opposition against lower-half strugglers such as West Ham. We're more than happy to back another mid-table home side at odds-against.
Tottenham vs Wolves

12th December 15:00 GMT
Hart Lane has seen 21 goals just from the home side this season, and I fully expect that to continue against 18th placed Wolves today. Bet365 have Spurs to score 4 or more at the tempting odds of 4.0, and this is an excellent shout in my opinion.
NJ's Bets:
Stoke to beat Wigan - 4pts @ 2.2 (Coral)
Birmingham to beat West Ham - 4pts @ 2.2 (Globet)
Tottenham to score 4+ - 3.25pts @ 4.0 (Bet365)
