Lille, an unheralded team in Europe, boast the second best home record in Ligue 1, with just one defeat in the last 16 games. Liverpool are all over the place at the moment, and have incredibly scored just two goals in their last eight away games. They were bundled out of the Champions League after underestimating similar opposition to Lille, and could be without Yossi Benayoun for tonight, arguably their most reliable player this season.

I confess to not knowing much about Lille, but the stats don't lie and it would take a brave man to back Liverpool away tonight. We should back Lille with confidence as a value proposition.
