Sharapova vs Azarenka

The Russian meets the Belarusian today in the final of the Bank of the West Classic in LA, and I fancy Azarenka to beat a snip of value here. All week long she has been playing phenomenal tennis, despite running into opponents who have been playing excellent tennis at times. Her win over Marion Bartoli showed the fortitude of a champion, after weathering a first set where the Frenchwoman was hitting winners and aces at will. Meanwhile, Sharapova has struggled with unforced errors and double faults, and given the contrasting form of the pair, Azarenka has got to be the bet at odds-against.
