Horse race bettors were treated to a bizarre 1.01 gubbing last week, as At the Races commentator Mike Cattermole mixed up fallen horse Brazilian Bush with eventual winner Make My Dreams, with dire consequences for some.
Having muddled the colours of the horses, Brazilian Bush was taken down to 1.01 as Cattermole called it as the winner, whereas winning horse Make My Dreams was matched for £30 @ 999/1 on Betfair, leaving a lucky punter 15k to the good.

Heartache at the oche for Dudders
To the darts, and Mark Dudbridge succumbed to an agonising defeat against ‘ Hawaii 501' Wayne Mardle at the Stan James World Matchplay in Blackpool on Sunday.
In a topsy-turvy match, Mardle took an early lead before Dudbridge raced back to lead 9-7. Dudbridge went on to miss five doubles to seal the match, and crowd favourite Mardle took advantage of his opponent's choke, progressing to the last 16 with a 10-9 victory.
