Andy Murray vs. Stanislas Wawrinka

Andy Murray faces Switzerland's Stanislas Wawrinka tonight in the Rogers Cup in Toronto for a place in the quarter-finals, in what should be a cracking encounter.

Both players have had fairly similar careers in terms of their achievements and their sheer potential to become world-beaters. This is mirrored by their close rankings - Murray is ranked ninth in the world, and Wawrinka is ranked tenth.

The draw has opened up markedly after Roger Federer's shock early exit against Gilles Simon last night, and both players will be hoping for a shot at glory in Toronto.

We expect this to be a tight match, and considering the 3:2 H2H in favour of Wawrinka, value may lay with the Swiss at odds-against, but considering how close the match is likely to be, we're reluctant to take a position in this market.

Instead, we are siding with the total games market with Sky Bet, who has set the bar at over 22.5 games @ 1.83. Keeping in mind that there is little to choose between the players, and all three previous hard court meetings have gone to three sets,we're happy to have a small interest at the odds.
