Australia v New Zealand
By LooseheadThere is expected to be heavy rain falling in the Brisbane region throughout the day and that rain is expected to continue for the Tri Nations 'final'. In dry conditions, there is every chance that this match could be a classic as two of the best attacking teams go head to head but, in the pouring rain, it is likely to develop into a battle of attrition and one that is likely to better suit the superior NZ forward pack.
Whilst we are unlikely to witness much of a spectacle of running rugby tomorrow, there is an opportunity to take advantage from a betting point of view. Points are likely to be difficult to come by but NZ have the superior goal kicker in Carter, which could prove to be the crucial factor. I expect a low scoring game and for NZ to emerge as narrow victors.
Selection –
NZ to beat Australia by 1-12 points – 3 points at 2.63 Stan James
Under 44.5 match points – 3 points at 1.72
