The only match between these two sides in Italy was last season when Edinburgh emerged victorious by a single point. Indeed, that was their only league victory on the road last season and it will be difficult to repeat that feat with a number of absences due to International call-ups.  Aironi are missing a few but early evidence indicates that those coming in are up to standard and they are still able to field a solid front row and decent 9-10 combination in Tito Tibaldi and Naas Olivier.  Their bench is also respectable with the likes of Josh Sole, Simone Favaro and ex-Crusader Tyson Keats.

The Aironi players will surely see this as an ideal opportunity to register their first victory this season and they have the ability to edge a close encounter.
