There are lots of season bets that I like after a big research. Most of the reasons were already advanced in the Season preview.

To win the League

Barcelona and Madrid are clear favourites and if other team lifts the title it would be a major surprise. Barcelona deserves more credit for their last season and their play but with their tough schedule and travelling (now they have to travel to Kiev and Kazan in Champions League),  their roster can be a bit short of important players and so I find value in Madrid winning La Liga (everything over 2.20 seems good to me)

Valencia could have a quiet year after so many problems and if they don’t sell any key players in these last days of the market the odds offered by Betfred are clear value to finish first or second without the Big two (Madrid and Barcelona) even though Villarreal, Atlético and Sevilla seems behind them now.

Group Bets

Though Zaragoza is a bit unstable their squad, experience and resources are bigger than Xerez and Tenerife. Of course this is open to a surprise but I see weaknesses in the three teams and I see Zaragoza the most capable to overcome them.

The other group bet could be of teams that have gone through economic problems recently but while Mallorca and Málaga are worse than the previous season, Depor is more or less the same. My infos are that Depor could lose a key player in next days but I still would be liking the bet.

Relegation

Three teams that could struggle and move in dangerous zones all season. They are not my three favourites to go down but I expect them to suffer and at least one of them should be relegated. Those odds represent clear value but don’t take them if they are much lower.

Season Goals Bets

Depor always has problems to score, they don’t have a reference as striker and have lost Verdú and could even sell another player that can score. Meanwhile Espanyol has signed Verdú and has much more goal than Depor. Last year they were unlucky not to score more but this season this should change.

Osasuna is one of the best defences of La Liga and this should stay the same. Mallorca was worse last year and I don’t think the team will improve in any line. Besides, they’ve sold the goalkeeper. Also their forwards are not very reliable, even though I like Aduriz I wonder if he can score more. With Jurado and Arango they’ve lost plenty of goals and assists. I don’t think they are the worse attacking team but this odds are crazy and big value.

Getafe Bets

Getafe is one of the most underrated teams by the bookies so I’ll take two bets. The first one is offered by Blue Square with handicap to win the league. You have to take the bet there or skip it as the other bookies have different handicaps for the team and its rivals.

I think that Getafe can be near to the Europa League places.

Segunda Division – Liga Adelante

Betis is the favourite to win Segunda and I think they should at least get in the third first places. They have a coach with big knowledge of the competition and the budget to make good signing if they need them. They will probably sell some players before the market closes but also bring replacements for them.
