Can Luke Donald Sneak In And Show A Killer Instinct?
With Luke Donald's coach hoping to turn him into an assassin, the man himself would probably rather sit back with a cup of tea and relax before undergoing a gruelling four days that represent one of his best chances to go out on to a golf course and show exactly what he is made of.However, although Donald may certainly be a quieter character than some of those on the golf circuit, his determination to win is unquestionable, as evidenced by the fact that he has gone to the lengths of bringing his coach with him to the upcoming Masters in order to help keep a sense of continuity around him as he looks to build on his performance from last season that saw him fail to make the cut. The Masters golf betting odds suggest he should do better this time around, but doubts still remain.
Donald has every chance to go out there and perform in a manner we know he is capable of, especially given his success at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship where he showed just how well he can play when he is at his best, and he may well turn out to be the kind of player who can sneak under the radar and start putting in a round or two that can very quietly put the cat amongst the pigeons and leave the likes of Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson wondering how he sneaked up on them so quietly.
Now is the time for Donald to go out there and show that quiet as he is, he can still compete against the very best the world of golf has to offer.
