09:11am Great start for us. Tendulkar run out in a mix up. India 10-1.

09:16am Unfortunately the market is in love with India which is irritating... SA should be sub 1.6 in my opinion. Sehwag hits a six without full control and he will no doubt look to chance his arm as usual. 19-1 off 3 overs.

09:31am 30-1 off 6 overs. Solid partnership being built here. Not much happening with the prices. SA hovering around the 1.65-1.7 mark.

09:40am This partnership is worrying me now. 46-1 off 8 overs. Langeveldt on and hopefully he will take a wicket to tame these batsmen.

09:58am 62-1 off 11. Too easy for the Indian batsmen. I am not pleased but India are consistently too short here so I cannot justify a shift in position.

10:07am 89-1 off 14. Sehwag taking charge here.. need him gone desperately. Plenty of time for flip flops galore however. We'll see.

10:09am Bit of luck for the saffers. Karthik smashes a straight drive back at Langevedlt who gets a touch on it and Sehwag is run out after backing up a fair way down. Very unlucky for Sehwag, good for us. India 89-2 off 14.2 overs.

10:27am Pitch still looks easy. Karthik has decided to attack Botha as the spinner comes on. 15 off the over. 115-2 off 18 overs.

10:31am Every time they have needed a wicket, they have got one. Langeveldt bangs one in short and the dangerous Karthik cannot control his stroke and gets himself caught. Big Wicket. 116-3 off 18.2 overs.

10:50am Once again just as a partnership looks in the offing the saffers strike. Clueless batting from Dhoni for once. 138-4 off 23.1 overs. RR below 6 now and the Indians need to dig in here now there isn't much experience left in the batting ranks. I am satisfied with our position still for now.

11:07am Steady batting here. Just as required. 153-4 off 27 overs. Raina is unreliable at this level.. hopefully this will continue.

11:23am Drinks on the field. 31 overs gone India 170-4. South Africa should be content with their efforts thus far but plenty of work to do. Market still as ever in love with India.

11:45am India getting on top here now. They look like making 290+ here. Still twists and turns to come no doubt but as per previously, the market has not shown me signs to switch.

11:48am GONE! Stunning catch from Gibbs sees the back of Virat Kohli. Much needed breakthrough for South Africa. That could well bring about a more cautious approach for the next few overs. Batting powerplay still to be used. India 204-5 off 36.2 Overs. Pathan in now.

Dot ball first up, then a run out after a single, then Langeveldt bowled Nehra to all intents and purposes but the bails did not budge and worse still the ball ricochets for four but all is well still as Langeveldt bowls two dots then the last ball goes for two. 298-9 Final Total.

13:05pm On this deck not a bad effort restricting the Saffers to less than 300. Going to lay a bit of liability off on SA now. We are in a pleasing overall position but plenty of things can go right or wrong yet! Lay SA @ 1.92 for 50 Points. New separate top commission position: IND -161 SA +174

14:33pm These two starting to put together a dangerous partnership. 100-2 off 17 overs. Held off the temptation to back South Africa again. Think they are slight value but this is a volatile situation and I want to be laying odds-on not backing it.
 
14:43pm Jadeja bowls DeVilliers to breathe life to India and my concentration is lapsing. Until I get focussed again I will not place any more trades. SA 109-3.

15:29pm Two more wickets fall. SA 161-6 after 31.2 Overs. The 5th was a disgraceful umpiring decision by a home umpire when Morkel hit the ball and was given lbw and the 6th was a nick from Boucher off Sree Sreesanth. Looking terminal unless Kallis gets some serious support.

15:48pm Pressure built up by Yusuf Pathan culminates in an lbw of Botha. End of 35 overs. South Africa 180-7. The umpire had raised his finger before the ball was bowled in my opinion but I'm biased right now and fed up of this game.
