Hello everyone and welcome to the first of our World Cup Trading events. We will be trading on Betdaq which is awash with liquidity and will be starting off with a bank of £500.We will trade with 10% of the bank on each match.
2.05
The first game pits the hosts againsts Mexico and I have a feeling that this market is not making enough of the fact that South Africa are hosts which I think gives them a huge advantage.Mexico are the better team on paper but this is the first game of a World Cup and a huge day for this country.
2.10
Its time for our first bet of The World Cup lets have 30@3.15 on South Africa in the match odds market on Betdaq.
2.45
The stadium is amazing the old cliche of the crowd being the twelfth man never truer today. The ITV panel does not exactly get the pulse racing does it.
3.15
A lively start South Africa starting to settle now anyone else finding the crowd noise of the horns slightly irritating ?
3.30
South Africa beginning to take control of the midfield should allow Pienaar to dictate the play.
3.50
It is half time and a poor game interestingly the last five minutes were the best South Africa have played all half.
4.00
I think thre is a strong chance that this will start the World Cup with a nil nil so we will play 15@3.3
4.05

So We have nil nil and South Africa in the book lets hope that South Africa go on to win but I am mindful that this new ball looks dodgy with both teams overhitting free kicks and crosses.
4.15
What a goal for the hosts we will stick for the next ten to fifteen minutes and see if they can score again.
4.35
South Africa look comfortable at the moment so no further trades for now.
4.42

Disaster strikes an equaliser before we laid off we will now play Mexico £5 @4.8
5.00
Two minutes to go and a pathetic miss from South Africa costs us a good profit.I am sure over the Tournament our luck will even out.We will be back tomorrow to trade the first game at 12.30pm between South Korea and Greece. It is a marathon not a sprint but that was a real sickener to start with.
