No official bets today but I expect Bo Van Pelt to beat david Toms in their 2-ball. Bo is playing very well recently and has a significant length advantage over Toms, meaning he should play shorter irons to difficult last-day pins. Bo closed to a shot last weekend at Bridgestone before that effort found him out, but that wasn't his first decent finish. Here, the extra length and difficulty on payday should give him the edge over the more experienced Toms, a player who has been very average fora while now and hasn't the game to shoot lower than 70 on a Sunday around here. 5-6 is ery fair - an unnoficial 5 points with Stan james

I tell you mate, he is flying. I thought slightly unfortunate not to win, seemed to lose a bit yesterday and awful start today. Still, its where they are at the end that counts . He is certain to win many more on Tour though

Case shoots an awful +6 and still ties with his oppo- a very dissapointing result in many ways. the evn looks out of our hands now, with Tim Clark holding faint hope of nicking a top4 or top 6 (bet365 pre-event) placing - he has played well but on a course with birdies available (very unlike a US Open) he hasnt done enough. I like Gmac from off the pace, he played very well last night, and he will enjoy the chase more than if leading 11-2 seems a touch big. But the big presence of Tiger is always a worry. I think Ill enjoy the final round just hoping that by the time the leaders have started, Sir Bob will have put in his best round of the week and annointed himself King of the Vikings!

Again, not for the site, but outright fancy Paul Casey looksa cracking bet at 4-6 and 8-13 to beat Brendan De Jonge tonight. The latter is an improver but this is the real big time and whilst his driving is impressive round this shortish course, his scrambling ability is not in the same league as Casey's. Paul is expecting to be challenmging for this title tomorrow and the way he overcame the score on 14 yesterday leads me to believe he is mentally on top of his game. Good Luck

I have to agree with profit swing re The US Open. Main betting is of course on the market after the cut but Tim Clark brings some nice figures to a course that may be a slightly different test to that of normal US Opens, and less of a slog and hard work. Nice, tidy play will see players propser over length and brute force. Of course, Lee Westwood brings good claims but I just fancy Paul Casey and Luke Donald to dominate the Euro challenge. Donald is obvious, bringing his excellent recent form to play, but Case is certainly a player that should be right at his peek pretty soon and he wont lack for confidence over the weekend. They will be my small pre-event plays with heavier ones to follow on the site.GL

Rob Rock is a player I really rate I hope he can get his first win and then go on from that.Like you I was gobsmacked Tommy Bjorn held on its a crazy game as events in Memphis showed !

Just to say that its not a price I would put up on the site, but any 4-6 Rock to beat Coles in the fourth round looks generous. He has been finishing his events very strongly, with plenty of sub-70 final rounds and has been impressive the last two weeks without managing to do it. Too far back to win now, but he should outclass and outbottle his oppo who comes off the back of a handful of missed cuts and will be relieved just to be earning. Good Luck

Looks like Thomas Bjorn has found something from somewhere. the rest all had chances to do a tad better than they did. Canizares hit -12 then dropped 3 shots in a row late on, Dredge hit the front and in typical style decided that was enough for him, whilst Fraser was a shot-in-the-dark that didnt pay off. They will have to go some to beat Bjorn from here though i would be no backer at the price. Hands up, this weeks Euro event has me beat. looking forward to maybe the final round of the PGA.

You could be right. Rhys has dissapointed once or twice now, looks to have had enough for the time being..he certainly has the attitude that he wants to be in the mix and if he isnt gets down on himself.
As for Gmac, he has the game by miles to give Siem 4 shots around here, so good luck to After The Cut for a nice start. Trouble is that Mac often gets too aggressive when needing birdies and starts to drop vital shots late on. We'll see. GL

Should be a great last round good luck with Gmac, Marcel Siem might beat himself here.Maybe young Rhys has started to believe the hype re his putting as he has started to miss !
